Our premium tasting has been one of this society’s best events for a good number of years now. It gives us all a chance to try some whiskies that we wouldn’t normally even think about buying. Bumping up the value of the whisky means we have to bump up the ticket prices, but nobody has complained about the experience yet!
Our definition of premium is based on the price, but the committee comes together to find and present whisky that costs more because of it’s rarity, age or providence. I’m predicting 6 very special examples of Scottish whisky covering a good range of what’s available to nose and taste and talk about.
