It is probably fair to say that Europe is one of the most culturally diverse regions on this planet. The result of this is a multitude of different cooking styles, local traditions and customs, but many regions also produce their own drinks such as beer, wine and spirits. Hence, it is not surprising that some of them also have discovered the art/science of whisky distillation quite often incorporating some twists and tweaks from spirits more native to the region in their final dram.  In this tasting, we are going to explore some of the variety of European whisky and hope to discover some unique drams from the continent.
