Premium Shochu Tasting 2016

Following the success of our sake tasting last term we are having another extra end-of-term event! We will be holding a very special tasting of extremely rare and ultra premium spirit – shochu.

Shochu is distilled sake rice wine from Japan and we will being treated to some of the best shochu in the world on Thursday 9th June at 7:30pm in the Hall of Little St Mary’s Church (Trumpington St, Cambridge CB2 1QG). We will be guided through this premium tasting by Jonathan Beagle, who is a highly qualified and sought after sake and shochu expert. Tickets are £16 each for both members and non-members. These bottles are incredibly hard to get hold of and most are not available to buy, even in Japan, so it is not an opportunity that you want to miss! We are advertising the event widely so tickets will go quickly! Sign up ASAP below to make sure you don’t miss out!

I’m really excited to be showcasing these fantastic examples of a spirit few people have tried before. These are far higher quality than most shochu in Japan and certainly the best bottles that have made their way to Europe!
